On May 16th in Sofia, INKPRESSION® and FESPA Bulgaria are organizing a masterclass led by Yanko Dzharov, who will reveal the process behind the most awarded packaging in the history of Bulgarian design – from the initial idea to the finished product.

Yanko is a designer with extensive experience in brand and packaging creation, as well as the founder of INKPRESSION® – the first and only Bulgarian studio to win a Red Dot Design Award in the Brands & Communication Design competition. This recognition is for the LEVSKI 1968 Packaging Experience project – a collector's box dedicated to Levski's championship match from 1968 and to the legend Georgi Asparuhov – Gundi. The same project has also won awards from Pentawards and MUSE Design Awards.

Event Details

In this masterclass, Yanko will reveal the entire journey behind the LEVSKI 1968 box — from the first sketch and prototype to the finished product that reaches the general public. Participants will gain fundamental knowledge on how to create packaging of this scale and will see every stage of the process live.

INKPRESSION® has been a member of FESPA Bulgaria since 2020, and this masterclass aims to continue their joint mission to share real-world experience and inspiration with the Bulgarian design community.
